Birds Australia Campout 6-9 April 2011

Hosted by The Canberra Ornithologists Group (COG).

Location: Bush Heritage Scottsdale Reserve, 45 minutes drive south of Canberra, ACT. Scottsdale Reserve protects endangered grassy box woodlands and supports many declining woodland birds including Diamond Firetail, Hooded Robin and Brown Treecreeper.

Activities: The timing of the autumn Campout has been arranged to coincide with the annual honeyeater migration. Activities will imclude bird tours of Scottsdale, and outings to Namadgi National Park, Tallaganda State Forest, Tidbinbilla Nature Reserve and the Tinderry Nature Reserve. Opportunities will be provided to become involved in bird surveying for the Kosciusko to Coast (K2C) project.
