The following is a digest of Sightings Reported on Birdpedia for the period Monday, March 2, 2015 to Sunday, March 8, 2015: Area: SA Location: Hindmarsh Island Terek Sandpiper (Xenus cinereus) (2) Terek Sandpiper 2 birds were on the rocks forming a breakwater in front of the shacks and close to the Jetties to the left of the first car park. Birds were observed from a boat. Common Sandpiper (Actitis hypoleucos) (1) Single bird was in the same area as the Terek. Pied Oystercatcher (Haematopus longirostris) (92) This large number of birds were feeding in very shallow water and on the large expanse of sand near the Mouth.
