Birdpedia – Australia – Weekly Digest

The following is a digest of Sightings Reported on Birdpedia for the period Monday, March 8, 2021 to Sunday, March 14, 2021:

Area: SA

Location: On our Rockleigh property

Brown Treecreeper (Climacteris picumnus) (2) A great sighting – 2 brown treecreepers. Treecreepers were resident until the December after the January 2014 bushfire, and raised young most years. But we have only seen or heard one about 3 or 4 times since then, the last sighting being in January last year. Today’s pair were very vocal, and very active up tree trunks. A new marriage and more babies ? Let’s hope so.

Reported by: Barbara and Peter Bansemer on Monday, March 8, 2021
