Location: Scrubby Hill Road, SE of Wistow
Elegant Parrot (Neophema elegans) (6) 3 pairs of Elegant Parrot were seen on private property, with 1 pair using a hollow in a dead Eucalyptus.
There were 6 other species which alighted on this tree from time to time, including 3 Black-faced Cuckoo-shrike & 2 Dusky Woodswallow, showing how important it is to preserve dead trees!
