Hooded Plover (Thinornis rubricollis) (1) 2 adult birds, one with red flag on right leg, and 2 juvenile birds. Foraging amongst sand & seaweed moving westwards. A very windy day, keeping the beach quiet of human activity.

Location: Hindmarsh Is Murray Mouth
Bar-tailed Godwit (Limosa lapponica) (11) 11 Bar tailed Godwit with 1 Black tailed just south of river mouth on sandbar feeding with great enthusiasm .
Sooty Oystercatcher (Haematopus fuliginosus) (20) 20 Sooty Oystercatchers along with 10 Pied on Goolwa ocean beach , water right up to vegetation driven by big seas.
Red-necked Stint (Calidris ruficollis) (30) Red neck Stint group some birds very coloured up, near Goolwa bird hide.
