I tried to click on eremaea link to go to birdline vic etc but it says it has expired. Do Birdlines exist anymore? Does anyone know if or how they can be accessed now? If this is still playing up, you can try also try entering the URL – eremaea.com – into Google Mobilizer at http://www.google.com/gwt/n. This will fetch the page, reformat it, and display it via Google. That means it’s using Google’s own DNS servers rather than your normal ones. The images don’t work properly, but at least you can read the text. Hi all If you want to get techy and can’t live with out eremaea, set your DNS forwarders to google – 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 – problem fixed. Wouldn’t recommend doing this on a corporate LAN though 🙂 Cheers Tim Sent from my iPhone _______________________________________________ Birding-Aus mailing list Birding-Aus@birding-aus.org To change settings or unsubscribe visit: http://birding-aus.org/mailman/listinfo/birding-aus_birding-aus.org

Hmmm… Mine’s not working now, it wasn’t this morning, then it was and now it’s not again 🙁 It could simply be that whatever the problem was (DNS, presumably) can take 24 hours to propagate through the network. —–Original Message—– John Tongue Sent: Tuesday, 11 March 2014 5:09 PM Cc: birding-aus@birding-aus.org Mine’s not working either. If you’re still getting that, try pressing control+F5 to refresh the browser. If it still doesn’t work then perhaps your ISP still hasn’t updated their DNS. Same here now, maybe my earlier test came out of the browser cache. The main page at http://www.eremaea.com says the domain name has expired, and has been replaced by a set of very vaguely bird related links.
