Birdline North Queensland Published sightings for the week ending 28 Dec 2014. Fri 26 Dec Oriental Pratincole Orient Station, Ingham Oriental Pratincole in nonbreeding plumage near road at Orient Station, southeast of Ingham today. No other Pratincoles seen. Same paddock and also very uncommon, pair of Brown Songlarks with juv/imm bird. Never seen pair in area before, let alone hint of breeding locally. Plus two Zitting Cisticolas nearby.
