Birding tours

Dear fellow birders,

I do apologise for the annoyance, but I just found out that I must have lost numerous e-mails due to system problems: Apparently, I received only few replies and one of you resent a reply which I had never received.

So, if you have answered to my e-mail below, please do forward it to me.

Thank you so much.

Thomas

Hello!

My wife and I will make a trip around east Australia in August/September 2012.

We will arrive in Sydney on Monday 8/20 and hire a caravan from Thursday 8/23 onwards. On the way to Adelaide we would like to stop over at one major birding site in SE Australia (e.g. Blue Mountains). What would you recommend?

After a guided tour to Uluru and surroundings we will arrive in Darwin on Thursday 9/6 and mount our plane to Europe on Tuesday 9/11. We are looking for a guided tour in order to see as many different bird species the Top End can offer at that time of the year. We wouldn’t mind to join an already organised tour in order to reduce costs. We bring own equipment (20-60x scope, 300mm lense, sound recorder).

What kind of trip can you offer?

Thank you very much in advance.

Best wishes, Thomas Tietze ===============================
