Hi All, in a few weeks I am heading back to New Caledonia and onto Vanuatu on my honeymoon.
I am after anyone’s feedback on birding on Mare Island (NC), part of the Loyalty Islands and on Efate Island – Port Vila. I have been on Eremaea but both these show up as no records. There is a record from Mystery Island, which is also a day stop for the cruise ( Good on you, Bruce).
Surely there are some birders out in “B-A land” that may have been to these places.

Your post reminds me of a competition several years ago – the prize was a fabulous all-expenses-paid honeymoon. The winner was (I paraphrase);
“I need this honeymoon; my fiance said ‘caravan’ and ‘fishing’ in the same sentence as ‘honeymoon’…”
