Hello Chris
The link at Topic 13 from Stewart Ford could be a very useful one for you to put up on Bird-O It contains a lot of useful information about recording equipment.
The response to recording bird calls on birding-aus has been very good – I will draw from this as well as incorporating my own thoughts when I prepare the note you requested for Bird-O I will probably need to do several as it would be rather long winded and rambling if i try to do it as one.
We head off on our two month trip on Friday.
Cheers
Dave
