[Birding-Aus] Albino Blue-winged Kookaburras

That was Albi (imaginative name eh!) She only died a couple of years ago.

  Yes indeed. (I used to work as a volunteer at Healesville so knew him/her well). I seem to recall that Albi was believed to be a male until a male was introduced into the enclosure after a number of years and Albi then laid eggs – not sure if they hatched or not as I had left by then.
