Actually, Great Tits predate milk bottles by a very long time, millenia I presume. Whether Great Tits predate a species of pitcher plant or the pitcher plant predate Great Tits might depend on the comparative evolutionary history of both species, or the hatching date of one individual versus the germination date of the other, depending on the context. Milk bottles do not prey on Great Tits since preying involves animation. It is arguable whether pitcher plants prey on animals, but I would lean towards yes, and certainly so in an evolutionaty sense.

It is well-known that in the UK high-grade milk bottles predate Blue Tits. Now it’s pitcher plants.
