BBBQ

Dear All
Yesterday afternoon (25/9/17) searching for BBBQ: after searching the Bullock Point site, finding some platelets, but none recent, decided to go out to the mud flats at the boat ramp and watch sea birds and raptors. WBSEagles courting in the air is a spectacular sight with Brahmini Kite soaring above. The usual waders were around but tide was just going out so not many present: E Curlew, BN Stilts, Wimbrel, Gull-billed Tern and a few others too hard to see without a scope. What was interesting was a black Dingo/wild dog who investigated us very closely, then followed our scent up to the Quail site.
Today decided to go up early and try again with no luck. Continued on to Inskip Point without success. Then heading back down Inskip Road a BBBQ crossed the road and ran into the bush just at the entrance to the Camp Natone site. What splendiferous luck!
