Are you kidding? Are you trying to say that predators reduce their food by eating it? That seems to be very naive. I believe that it is dangerous to post this kind of un-founded statements in public. There may be people out there who believe it! You still haven’t told us which species of “pelagic sea birds” are out-competed by which which species “whales” in your observation. You still haven’t provided us with numbers/facts.
