Advertisement: fundraising t-shirts Twitchathon NSW 2016

Hi Elliot,

Sure! Just email the design you’d like (e.g. Gould’s Petrel 10N) to avinaturedesigns@gmail.com and I can edit the design and upload a new product to the store. Unfortunately, it is too time consuming to do this for each of the 60-odd design variants, so it can only be done on an order-by-order basis.

Also let me know if you’d like just the text “Twitchathon QLD 2016” without the second line “Supporting the conservation….”

Cheers,

Dean

Very cool! Would it be possible to make a Qld version for the Qld Twitchathon? You’d just have to change the text…

Hi birders,

A range of fundraising t-shirts for the NSW 2016 Twitchathon have now gone on sale!

Each t-shirt sold will raise $10 to support the conservation of Gould’s Petrel and the White-faced Storm-petrel. Twitchathon participants in NSW in 2016 will be raising funds to support these conservation projects. You can support the conservation of these two threatened seabird species by purchasing (and proudly wearing!) one of AviNature Design’s unique t-shirts.

Visit our facebook page (web.facebook.com/avinaturedesigns) or online store (avinature-designs.myshopify.com). You can also help support our fundraising efforts by liking and sharing our Facebook page with fellow birdwatchers.

Cheers,
Dean

AviNature Designs is an Australian-based brand that was created to sell fundraising t-shirts for the NSW Twitchathon in 2016, which will be held on 29-30 October 2016. The Twitchathon is an annual event where teams of birdwatchers compete to record the highest number of bird species within a 24-hour period. The event raises funds through seeking sponsorship for worthy conservation and research projects. This year, birdwatchers competing in NSW will be raising funds to support the conservation of Gould’s Petrel and the White-faced Storm-petrel on the mid-north coast of New South Wales. These two species are among the most threatened seabird species that breed in New South Wales. There are many challenges associated with working on islands where these seabirds breed, which means implementing effective conservation actions to mitigate threatening processes and facilitate population recovery can be expensive. Since government funding only extends so far, securing additional funds through fundraising campa
