Breeding New Holland Honeyeaters

Its been pointed out that I neglected to state where the breeding NHHs
are in my previous post. I’m in central Victoria near Maryborough, the
fledglings are in a large shrub in my front yard and appear to have
hatched early May.

cheers

Gary

My wife and I are in Melbourne for a week. We would love to video and
photograph Blue-winged Parrots and a few other species. I see from eBird
surveys that they are regularly at the WTP but we do not know our way
around WTP so we are seeking any help that may be available. We have
access to a car. Thanks in anticipation. Garry and Gail.

Thanks for the offer Dave. At this stage Friday probably suits us best
but other days are ok. Also interested in White-winged Black Tern,
Striated Fieldwren, Skylark, Swamp Harrier and anything rare. Rose Robin
and Square-tailed Kite elude me but they are not at WTP I assume. I will
check my list to see if there are other species that might be possible.
If you know of possible uncommon species you might also list them for
me.
What is the best time to meet you and where? What is time of travel from
northern suburbs of Melbourne?
Thanks again. I will be in touch.
Regards Garry.

Today l noticed two fledgling NHHs in a shrub outside my lounge room
window. They must have hatched early May which seems fairly early
according to Pizzey et al. Has anyone else noticed early breeding in
Honeyeaters ( or extremely late!)?

Dear all
If you’re looking to add Grey or Sandhilll Grasswren to your list, we
are

species,
which each still have a couple of seats left.
Please go to
