Hi all, We are off to Tassie next week, and having looked through the Birding-Aus archives I have noted the frequently mentioned birding spots in trip reports and RFIs for the endemics, but there is little mention of the Morepork. Also on our wish-list is the Masked Owl. Any info on recent sightings or likely locations of these two owls greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. Terry Gould

Hi Terry, I had good luck with Morepork at Cradle Mountain if you are planning to go there, calling from beside the road out to where the walking tracks all start from.
