Hi all, First I want to thank the people who responded to my latest inquiry regarding these locations. Got some other questions so if anyone thinks they can help me, thanks in advance! Maybe I will drive the southern part of Birdsville because the northen section is supposedly the worst part, then Lyndhurst mine and a bit of Strzelecki. Is it beter or the same, both regarding birds and weather, to do these visits in June/July? Could I possibly connect to Bowra Station without going that much south again? I see roads on the map… Hope to hear from you guys soon, going towards Nullarbor now! Best regards, Pieter de Groot Boersma

G’day Pieter The Birdsville and Strzelecki Tracks may not be all that rough at all. It depends on when they were last graded and whether there has been significant rain. The Birdsville races are on in September, so the roads on the Queensland side are typically graded a month or so before. Not sure what the frequency is on the South Australian side. You can probably find websites that give the status of the tracks via google. Regards, Laurie. On 5 Sep 2014, at 12:26 pm, Pieter de Groot Boersma < eagleowl22@hotmail.com> wrote:
