Hi Just wanting report a possible Grey Phalarope (Phalaropus fulicarius) Seen at 6:40AM at Leanyer Sewrage works NT Pic attached. Bird is very worn, obviously due to weather of the North lately. Would this constitute a BARC report for confirmation? G’day Mick, congratulations on the find. Is there still doubt in Darwin that this bird is a genuine Grey Phalarope? A number of us have now seen the photo and there is little doubt about the ID. This most definitely constitutes a submission to BARC. Well done, cheers Jeff. —–Original Message—– robert morris Sent: Tuesday, 21 January 2014 10:14 PM Cc: Peter Eve; birding-aus@birding-aus.org; gus_daly@yahoo.com.au Hi Mick I’ve seen the photo on Facebook.
