Update on John Young Presentation – “The Rediscovery of the Night Parrot”

John Young’s one off presentation tilted “The Rediscovery of the Night Parrot” will be held by BirdLife Townsville at James Cook University in Townsville on Saturday 8 February 2014, commencing at 2.30 pm. This presentation is co-sponsored by The School of Earth and Environmental Sciences – JCU I spoke with John yesterday and he is excited at the chance to publically explain his long, arduous and ultimately successful search for the Night Parrot. His informative presentation will be illustrated with photos and a short video followed by a question time. There will also be time to meet and talk with John after the presentation. There will be no entry fee to the presentation but donations will be accepted by BirdLife Townsville on the day to assist John in his expensive field work.
