Evening all, Being a bit lazy and am asking for info rather than searching online and the archives (though I am picking up a copy of “Where to watch birds in Victoria” from the library). Off to Echuca for the first week of the holidays and am after some suggestions for a spot to visit with Dad for a morning (or a little longer). No real targets, just after general species that he wouldn’t have seen on a trip trough central Qld to Mildura and the Muarray Mouth – just a general mix of common birds would be good. I am awae of the red gum forests on both sides of the river though am also wary of visiting at this time if it is wet. Any other suggestions would be appreciated. Cheers, Peter

The old Echuca BOCA site had lots of helpful info. I assume that much of this will now be on the birdlife.org.au site – maybe under branches->Echuca (I am also being lazy…..)
