On 16 May 2013, I observed one Black Kite soaring over the hillsides on the eastern side of the Woomargama Bypass (Hume Highway), about 15 km south of Holbrook in NSW. This is about 80 km NE of Chiltern (Vic), where Black Kite sightings were reported previously on Birding-aus. My apologies for the delay in reporting this sighting, but I only arrived back in Sydney from the field on the weekend.
