This flickr link is some photos of a recent weekend’s haul of – largely – protected birds shot by duck shooters.
They include the most un-duck like bird found shot this year – a Yellow-billed Spoonbill. Rescuers also witnessed shooters firing from cars at a wetlands near Rushworth.
