C. Sparrowhawk or B. Goshawk

Hi Greg,

I agree; on head and neck projection, wing shape and gently rounded tail tip I’d favour Brown Goshawk. A Sparrowhawk should show a smaller head and bill, more S-curved trailing edges to the wings, and a square-cut to notched, sharp-cornered tail tip. Sparrowhawks also have more boldly barred primaries, though difficult to see at that distance.
