Four birds tracked, one reaching southern East Timor. At least ?2 birds have been recorded in Australia previously.

    Colin,

    They certainly are great migrators. I would not be surprised if some make it to the Top End fairly regularly. There is an awful lot of space for them up there and very few observers.

    It will be interesting to see what effect climate change makes to their range.
