Hey everyone, A guy I know has been undertaking observations of a nesting pair of Peregrine’s… a few weeks ago he emailed me this image. http://i1143.photobucket.com/albums/n629/lighthousekeeper1/PeregrinePrey.jpg He saw these wings fall from the nest, and thinks that the Peregrine’s have killed and eaten one of their fledged chicks (they had three this year). Someone else who was out there suggested that these might be Hobby wings, though other suggestions I’ve had from people on Feathers and Photos include Brown Goshawk, Baza, Collared Sparrowhawk etc… I’m not sure of an ID myself, so any input would be appreciated.
Thanks!

So they definitely didn’t eat one of their young. Does that ever happen?
