Today I found Glossy Black Cockatoos at three widely separated sites around Noosa on the Sunshine Coast, further enhancing the reputation of this area as one of the best for finding this endangered species.
In a rare environmental success story, the population of Glossy Blacks is thriving thanks to concerted local conservation efforts to protect it. See here for more:
