A response from B&H re. non-shipment of some brands of Binoculars

That is normally if you want to get the service **under warranty** Usually the normal “you pay for it” servicing is OK here no matter where purchased. After all most reputable brands offer world wide servicing – but you have to pay full price. Otherwise long term tourists (eg 6 mo visa) would have to wait until they got home for repairs, wherever that might be.
