Hi all
My earliest arrivals in Cairns of affinis Gull-billed Terns is 10/10/08. All other arrivals here that I’ve noticed have been later than 23/10 in other years, but still worth keeping a look out for them from about now, I reckon. These later dates may be due to the birds being discovered by me later than when they’ve arrived here, I just don’t know exactly when they’ve arrived…
So I will keep looking closely from now on…
Cheers
