birding-aus Digest, Vol 65, Issue 37

Hello Chris

The link at Topic 13 from Stewart Ford could be a very useful one for you to put up on Bird-O It contains a lot of useful information about recording equipment.

The response to recording bird calls on birding-aus has been very good – I will draw from this as well as incorporating my own thoughts when I prepare the note you requested for Bird-O I will probably need to do several as it would be rather long winded and rambling if i try to do it as one.

We head off on our two month trip on Friday.

Cheers

Dave

This is a lovely short relatively inexpensive mic, easy to carry in bum bag together with an Olympus LS11, home made windshield, wooden handle covered with a bicycle grip etc. The easier it is to carry the more likely you are to use it. I use Adobe Audition v3 for editing, expensive but excellent. No matter PC or Mac, the editing programs are very similar. >> Howard Plowright >> =============================== >> >> To unsubscribe from this mailing list, >> send the message: >> unsubscribe >> (in the body of the message, with no Subject line) >> to: birding-aus-request@vicnet.net.au >> >> http://birding-aus.org >> =============================== >
