I’ve always found the Lee Point Caravan Park to be the most conveniently placed. It’s very close to Buffalo Creek, the Poo Ponds, and is an easy drive to Holmes Jungle, Knuckeys Lagoon, etc, all without having to go through the city. I have stayed sometimes at the Van Park at Berrima and that’s Ok but is not so well placed unless you only intend to go east to Fogg Dam and Kakadu etc.
