Trip report: Messa Rocks, Big Desert, Victoria, 15-18 September 2015 When Dean Hewish asked whether I’d like to visit a feature in the Big Desert he’d found on Google Earth I was enthusiastic. Hi All, We had two pelagic trips off Eaglehawk Neck, SE Tasmania last weekend. Very pleasant seas for a Tassie pelagic but the hoped for cold water specialties failed to materialise, indeed with the appearance of Long-tailed and Arctic Jaeger and White-chinned Petrel spring had sprung.
