The first information meeting about the 2014 duck hunting season is on tonight, Wednesday, February 26 at South Melbourne Town Hall, 210 Bank Street, South Melbourne at 7pm.Free street parking is available. Or take Tram 112 (to stop 128) on Clarendon Street, Tram 1 (to stop 24) on Park Street or Tram 96 (to stop 127) on the light-rail. Two more meetings will be held on Thursday March 6 and Tuesday March 11. If you’re curious about duck hunting or would like to hear more about what’s being done to stop this outdated practice, please come along.
