I have flushed a single buttonquail on three occasions in recent days while walking the dog through an echidna/koala-hosting grassy woodland/forest on the lower slopes of a large hill in greater Brisbane. Investigating, there were four (4) Sparrowhawks noisily attacking the cockatoos, which after about five minutes departed.
