It seems clear that in part the refusal to allow access was due to certain people already doing the wrong thing and visiting the area without permits. Hi Carla, Yesterday I had a look at a friends photo’s of a trip across the Simpson Desert in mid July this year. They went from Oodnadatta to Birdsville.
