Yellow Honeyeater on Bribie Island

Regarding the Yellow Honeyeater that has turned up 800 kilometres south of its usual range on Bribie Island, south-east Queensland, I have now amended my blog post to provide details of the site.  The observer on Bribie Island who first located the bird had asked that the precise site details remain undisclosed because she was concerned about possible disturbance to the bird and to neighbours living adjacent to the site. I  agreed reluctantly to comply with her wishes but unfortunately the site details were published anyway on Eremaea without either my permission or that of the observer.  It seems that birding-aus has continuing problems with reproducing URLs. The link in my post yesterday about this topic did not work so I will try again: http://sunshinecoastbirds.blogspot.com.au/2014/11/yellow-honeyeater-on-bribie-island.html Greg Roberts
