White-throated Needletails this morning – South-east Qld

I saw my first two White-throated Needletails for this season this morning while participating in a monthly bird survey at Eatons Crossing, SEQ. They were following the upstream course of the South Pine River. The co-ords were S27 20’53.0″ and E152 56’35.8′ Saddened to read that the status of WTNTs is now declared as vulnerable. — Marie Tarrant Kobble Creek, Qld On 14 October 2015 at 07:20, Michael Tarburton < tarburton.m@optusnet.com.au> wrote: > G’day Bird Enthusiasts > > Stephen Garnett has just informed me that the WTNT has been declared > Vulnerable.
