Stilt Sandpiper, Ruff at Weribbee

Ruff was just in front of the parking spot on the peninsular at 7 am this morning.

Stilt Sandpiper was in the flooded paddock (as described by Frank Pierce and Sue Lashko) associating with Marsh Sandpipers (and Curlew SPs and RN Stints) at about 9:30 – 10 ish. It did not stay around for long – wandering off into the long wet grass at the edge of the paddock. I waited another hour or so but it did not reappear.
