Sad to notice that John Clarke, birder and noted satirist, seems to have
passed away while hiking in Victoria’s Gariwerd NP (a.k.a the Grampians).
John was occasionally seen birding at the WTP. Russell and I met him once
ticking a Baillon’s Crake.
That’s sad, and certainly unexpected.
