20/7/11 In ranges near Mt Remarkable national park Alligator gorge section I saw a crested shrike tit approximately 100 metres from where my brother and I saw one 5-6 years ago. It was not calling and was active, flying from tree to tree.
Around our house we have altitudinal migrants from ranges being female golden whistler, rufous whistler and grey fantail. these turn up every year in winter although the difference in altitude between our house and the ranges would be around (guessing) 250 metres.
