Hi Birding-Aus, Is there someone out there who has some experience with Black-tailed Native-Hens in captivity and can give some advice to Lena? See below. There’s no vet here we have to take him to Port Lincoln I guess but that needs to wait a while because I’m working. I bandaged the broken wing onto him so at least thats not hanging on the ground anymore. We  gave him some snails and oats and water. Is that ok?
