Black-chinned Honeyeater (Melithreptus gularis) (1) Bird was calling from 3 locations close by. All the time from SA Blue Gums

Date: Wednesday, May 15, 2019

Location: Estuary to beach front Nelson

Freckled Duck (Stictonetta naevosa) (111) Large number of birds were roosting in shallow water between a sand bank and the open sea,along with many Shoveler and Chestnut Teal

Double-banded Plover (Charadrius bicinctus) (25) Foraging on the sand bank same area as Ducks along with Red-capped Plover and Red-neck Stint. 29 species counted in this area.
