Birdline Tasmania Weekly Update

Birdline Tasmania Published sightings for the week ending 14 Dec 2014. Sat 6 Dec Long-tailed Jaeger (2), White-headed Petrel (4), Sooty Shearwater (80+) Eaglehawk Neck Pelagic Trip Two Long-tailed Jaegers (1 dark, 1 light) appeared briefly, as did 4 White-headed Petrels. At least 80 Sooty Shearwaters were encountered during the day – a very high count for Eaglehawk – including a raft of around 70 birds.
