Birding-Aus Digest, Vol 58, Issue 16

I use a Shure MV88 microphone that clips into the Lightening port. Comes
with software. Excellent quality. Best not hand held if you just want the
bird calling to avoid extraneous noise so I use a Joby iPhone holder and a
table tripod. Sounds fiddly but easy to use and software is good. When
handheld *and* videoing, still very good you just have to aware not to move
your hand on the iPhone.
