anyone need a mini loudspeaker?

Hi all, Note that I don’t intend for this message to become the start of yet another endless discussion about the pros and cons of playing back bird sounds. For years I’ve been using Radioshack mini loudspeakers attached to my mp3 player to play back bird calls. They’re hard to find outside the US and I used to buy them on ebay. Now I need one again and at the moment they’re not around on ebay so I’m about to order one or two from Radioshack directly. Here’s the item: http://www.radioshack.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2062620 They don’t ship outside the US so I’m using hopshopgo to get it sent to me. As the postage is roughly the same for 2 or 6 I’m offering the option for others to join in if they want one so as to reduce the postage rate per item. Plus with the good rate for the USD this means you can get one for around $15 + postage. So if anyone’s interested in obtaining one of these speakers please get in touch with me directly and we’ll work it out from there. I need to know numbers fairly soon so this opportunity closes this coming Sunday, 27 March. cheers
Hi all, I’ve had an overwhelming response to this, at last count I’ve got orders for 17 speakers plus mine!! I haven’t had time to get back to everyone personally yet but will get to this over the next few days, first I’ll work out the cost per person etc. Given the amount of interest I’m closing this early or it’ll become unwieldy – last call by close of business Wed 23 March!! cheers Peter
