We were at the T-section yesterday morning and I was impressed by conspicuous drifts of a low-growing plant with mauve flowers growing near the water at several lagoons. Can anyone identify it for me? I didn’t collect a specimen because I didn’t want to disturb the waders there. As well as the usual birds, we found a very nice Ruff – too far away to photograph. Hi Anthea, I am heading there tonight, so I will grab a sample if I can. Mind you, it will be after dark while I am doing frog surveys….
