White-throated Needletails for New Year’s Day

I’ve been conducting a New Year’s Day bird count on our 5 acre ‘Land for Wildlife’ property here at Kobble Creek, SEQ (dry euc forest going into a dry vine rainforest type of gully) and as the day draws to a close my 60th bird species for the day has shown up. Fifteen WTNTs circled for a bit at 5.35pm and then left – in no particular hurry on this gently balmy and pleasant day we’re enjoying. Best wishes for the new year everyone. — Marie Tarrant Kobble Creek, Qld _______________________________________________ Birding-Aus mailing list Birding-Aus@birding-aus.org To change settings or unsubscribe visit: http://birding-aus.org/mailman/listinfo/birding-aus_birding-aus.org
