Gang-Gangs in Box Hill, Vic

There is a flock of at least 12 Gang-Gang Cockatoos in Bolton Park and surrounding gardens at the moment.

We often see 2-4 birds but this is an unusually large flock. The local Magpies aren’t impressed.

    Hi David,

There’s been a flock of about 20 in Templestowe near the Warrandyte border for a couple of weeks feeding on hawthorn berries, so maybe they’ve moved over to Box Hill. It’s the largest flock I’ve seen here too. These were very tolerant of humans.
