Wonder if anyone on the list has any experience of Android tablet or smartphone applications.
I’m considering buying a field-guide as ‘scanned’ media (not a paper book) via Google Play. If I try and look at a ‘preview’ https://play.google.com/store/books/details?id=3mg50wobsOsC&source=gbs_apionline, text is accessible but plates do not seem to be shown. I assume that this is only a device to protect illegal copying of the plates but I’m reluctant to part with the cost if they are not included in the ‘downloadable’ book.
Can anyone help?
Tom

One response to “Android book content?”
Hi Tom,
I think it’s only including the first 35 pages as the preview and most of that is preamble and introduction. There’s one plate in there, which is a topological diagram, so I assume the rest are in there. I guess if anyone has the print version, they might see if that’s the case that there aren’t other plates in that part of the book? Cheers,
Tony
