[OB] Franklin’s Gull at Morjim Beach/Chapora river mouth, Goa, India

For those who have dipped on the Franklin’s Gull in Paynesville, perhaps a quick flit to India is in order. They seem to get around a bit.

Cheers,

There has been a marked influx of Brown-headed Gulls (up from 800 a week ago to 4200 today) in the last few days it was with them. Also present were ca.200 Slender-billed Gull, 20+ Black-headed, 3+ Siberian, 300+ ‘Steppe’ Gulls, 180 Gull-billed, 3 Great Crested & 12 Lesser Crested Terns. > Hopefully, and unlike the well documented Black-legged Kittiwake found by Mark Newsome at the same site a few years ago, it’ll stick around… > Good birding > Paul Holt > > [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] > > __._,_.___ > Reply via web post Reply to sender Reply to group Start a New Topic Messages in this topic (1) > RECENT ACTIVITY: New Members 3 > Visit Your Group > This group is run in association with the Oriental Bird Club.
